How do I make a payment if I do not have a credit card?

When checking out, you are given the option to pay with a credit card or to make an Electronic Payment (EFT). Once you have chosen EFT, a page will come up showing our banking details which you will need to make a note of. You can either deposit the money electronically, or at a bank – whatever is easiest for you.

How much does it cost to have my goods delivered?

A flat fee of R50 is charged for all deliveries within South Africa, as well as to Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho. This amount is automatically added to your bill when checking out.

A flat fee of R150 is charged for deliveries to anywhere else in the world.  

If you live in Knysna, send us an email. We'll provide you with a coupon code which will deduct the delivery fee from your bill.

Your products seem a little expensive. Why is this?

There is a simple explanation for our prices. All of our products are handmade which means that they are labour-intensive (i.e. they take a lot of time to produce). They have not been manufactured in an enormous factory using hi-tech equipment. Each has been made using two hands, a lot of skill and even more love. We think the originality and innovativeness of each product is worth it.

How do I know if a product is out of stock? How long will it take for it to be back in stock?

The system will not allow you to add an item which is out of stock to your basket. A note will appear informing you that the item you have selected is unavailable. Out-of-stock items could take up to 2 weeks to replace. If you are particularly interested in a certain product please contact us and we will try our best to hurry it along for you.

Do you deliver to international addresses?

We do sell to foreign countries. A delivery fee of R150 will be added to your bill when checking out.  A courier company will collect the parcel from us, and deliver to the South African post office. They'll be responsible for shipping it to your country. A courier on your side will then deliver it to your door. This should take about twelve working days from the date that your transaction is approved. Parcels which go missing will be our cost, not yours! 

Please take note though, that at the moment, international buyers can only pay using a Mastercard or Visa credit card. We're looking into the possibility of electronic transfers from international accounts and hope to find a solution soon.  

Please explain how I can be assured of my privacy?

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy applies to all the web pages related to this website. All the information gathered in the online forms on the website is used to personally identify users that subscribe to this service. The information will not be used for anything other that which is stated in the Terms & Conditions. None of the information will be sold or made available to anyone.

Please explain how I can be assured of a secure payment?

When paying by credit card you will be taken to a secure payment page of Virtual Card Services. VCS is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions.

What is your returns policy?

If a product is damaged or flawed on receiving it, please inform Babazeka within 48 hours of receipt. We will either make arrangements for the damaged product to be returned to us and have a replacement sent to you on our account or alternatively we may refund you in full for the damaged product.
 
All products are sold within a 7 day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely happy with your order, contact us within 7 days of receipt with the reason of dissatisfaction. We will then issue a return number and a return delivery address. Shipping costs will be for your account. The goods must be returned to us undamaged in the original packaging within 7 calendar days.

Does Babazeka sell the products wholesale?
